Manor Hall Soap, Small Business Tips, and Videos!

1. Always take time to refocus and organize. This is something that we work on every week. It's great to feel like you are constantly barreling forward but it's very important to move from a position of strength and not just flux.
2. Just start. Sometimes we get too caught up in the planning and strategy sessions and it slows our "doing" down. Sometimes we attack the easier parts of our to-do list and sometimes we just plain forget. Well before your brain starts to take over just pull up a chair and dive into whatever younger thinking you ought to be doing.
3. Find communities in your niche and get involved. I was very impressed by Susan's involvement in a few online communities and how she had positioned herself as a resource from her outset about 8 years ago. She had done all the hard work already so now it was just about starting to leverage it which eventually led her to a directorship opportunity which you can also check out below.
4. Be efficient. Not just have a schedule but be efficient with the time that you are choosing to work. It's so easy to be working all the time as an entrepreneur and get nothing done and then be stressed out about it. When you do decide its time to work then just work. Don't get stuck in the inbox or with chores that don't have any specific time limit. Keeping your work/life balance is the foundation of your business stamina and personal wellness.
